Terms and Conditions

Age Requirements

Players must be at least seven years old to participate in Laser Quest games. The equipment and nature of the game are not suitable for children under this age.

All players participate at their own risk. Area51 does not accept liability for any loss, damage, or injury caused by misuse of equipment, lack of parental supervision, or failure to comply with the Centre Rules.
The Centre cannot be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur as a result of not following safety instructions.

Players are advised to wear dark, comfortable clothing and flat shoes with a gripping sole. Open-toe shoes, heeled shoes, or any unsafe footwear are not permitted.
Players wearing inappropriate clothing or footwear may be refused entry into the game.

Players must not run, climb, jump, sit, kneel, lie down, or cover sensors during gameplay. Physical contact with other players, the use of offensive language, or disrespectful, abusive, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
Disrespectful behavior towards staff or other customers may result in being asked to leave the premises. Any behavior that is deemed threatening or abusive may be reported to the police.
Individuals under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will be refused entry and asked to leave the centre.

The game involves dark environments, loud music, lighting effects, and smoke machines. If any player suffers from asthma or other respiratory conditions, they must inform staff prior to participating.
Upon request, the smoke machine can be turned off for the duration of a game, but the final decision to play rests with the player.
Players with any other medical conditions that may be triggered by the game’s environment should consult a doctor before participating.

For everyone’s safety, any player found not complying with safety rules may be asked to leave the game without a refund. The session may be paused or ended early if the safety of other players is compromised.
Smoke sensors are in operation throughout the building, and smoking is strictly prohibited in any area of the centre.

Only food and drinks purchased within Area51 are allowed on the premises, unless a designated party area has been hired.
Food and drinks are strictly prohibited in the kit-up area and the Laser Quest arena.
No outside food or drinks are allowed in the play area, except under pre-arranged circumstances (such as hired party spaces).

Laser Quest is played in a dark environment with special effects including loud music and lighting effects. These conditions may not be suitable for all players.

Complaints can be submitted via our customer contact form available on our website. Area51 aims to respond to all complaints within 28 working days.

No refunds will be issued once a booking has been made, unless otherwise specified by management in exceptional circumstances.
If a player is unable to attend, bookings may be rescheduled to a weekday subject to availability, but no refunds will be given.

Area51 reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone not complying with the terms and conditions or any other rules in place at the Centre.

Area51 reserves the right to alter game times, attractions, or prices without prior notification. Please check our website or contact the centre for the most up-to-date information.
